There were a lot of people trying to stifle criticism of the edginess by saying “it’s in hell, they’re supposed to be bad people” but one of the main characters is a porn star named after drugs. I’m not offended by that, I just don’t know what it’s trying to say. There are plenty of decisions that were made just because they could, not because it really meant anything. Is main girls friend also a demon or just a good person who is in hell for some reason

Theaters clearly need to get over themselves on that one. Sure, they could release it later, but other movies are also scheduled for those later release dates. It's a loving pandemic, let the kids watch trolls

They’re pissed because it sets a precedence. If this works for Universal they know they can do it again, even after the pandemic subsides. Kids movies especially are probably huge for theaters because the concession sales are likely bigger for those showings.

In the short a bunch of other angels are shown briefly at the beginning, and they all have the same X over their eyes that she does, so she's either an angel that was cast out of heaven or left willing to be in Hell with her demon girlfriend.
