It sucks because we're almost certainly going to lynch Town. Scum can talk to each other and remind each other that deadline's coming up, so I'd wager that the absentees will skew towards Town.

I actually tried to do something other than attack, but received the result that I "successfully attacked," so I guess someone did some kind of switcheroo effect on me. I may as well claim at this point, as we're doomed anyway. I have a decent role but unfortunately failed to do anything useful with it. I'm basically an action cop. Instead of doing any of the normal things (draw, attack, etc.) I can watch someone and see what they do. N1, I RNGed like I told everyone to and got "don't attack," so I investigated Hal. He attacked. Unfortunately, that info was totally useless because he died. N2, I investigated Jen because we couldn't attack anyway. D2, she had said she had ~reasons~ to believe Grandi was Town. I was watching her to see if I could get info to either confirm her power to everyone later or else catch her in a lie if she was Scum. However, she Drew. That's why D3 I was asking her about her read on Grandi, trying to see if she'd imply she'd used her action again N2 in which case I could catch her in a lie. But she didn't claim to have done anything like that, and now she's dead and confirmed Town. N3, I figured that just winning an encounter wasn't going to save this game, so I'd take one more try, see if I could catch Scum doing the NK. I picked Squiggly for no very particular reason other than WIFOM... just intuitively I guessed that he or M.I.D. were people I'd suggest for the NK if they were on my scumteam, so I picked randomly between them. But like I said, it looks like I was forced to attack instead. Unless CapPig made a mistake or something. There was no flavor or other message accompanying my result to suggest someone changed my action, but I double-checked my sent messages to make I'd said "investigate Squiggly" and yeah, that's what I submitted, so.

also, i agree with xopods and ill claim as well im cid, instead of taking a regular night action, i can give an item to somebody else. the item i give is based on the encounter. i dont know what the item does. n1 i attacked because people seemed pretty deadset on drawing and i wanted to try and not give scum a benefit. i rly did want to use my ability but also i didnt want to throw the game but it looks like other people didnt think the same way. my action was successful n2 i gave an item to clord. honestly, this was a super tough choice and i rly didnt have any strong town reads on anyone at this point so i went for the, what i think was, the lower risk of giving an item to a kinda lurky but seemed like they were okay player. at this rate, i probably did give an item to scum . my action was successfuln3 i attacked and was successful like i stated earlier

Hopefully this goes without saying, but we shouldn't be dropping votes today that we're not extremely committed to, because if there's a single Town-on-Town vote and the Scum can all get themselves online at the same time, they can coordinate a turbo hammer and win. Assuming there are four of them. I'm trying to think if there's a good strategic plan at this point to try to get ourselves coordinated. I'm thinking maybe we should do a reverse vote... try to agree who we think is the most likely to be Town* and let them pick someone to lunch. Seems to me that's less likely to let the Scum force us to lunch Town than doing things the normal way. * other than yourself, obviously I'd probably have to go with Amni or Sandwolf. Probably Sandwolf though I know that'd be an unpopular pick with those who still think his power is scummy.

We're claiming? I am a draw master. No mater what action I take, I also take a draw action. Was intending to be a power-role granter via draw mechanics. Gave Inf the spell yesterday. Can confirm that sandwolf did indeed block the draw overnight. If I had to pick a town-mayor I'd pick sandwolf.

Scum usually aren't going to pick someone to do the NK that one or more Townies have been going on about... At this point everyone's had some heat on them at some point, but e.g. ASF's come up enough that I don't think I'd pick him to kill if we were Scum together. And I'm leaning Town enough on Amni and Sand that I'm not going to investigate them... So MID and Squiggly were the people who seemed just the right amount scummy. You too, though there was a reason I decided they were the better options. I can't remember now.

Oh that was it, I was thinking at the time that Squiggly has both completely ignored ASF all game and was explicitly refusing to vote flerp around deadline yesterday, so there was a bigger potential upside to catching him as Scum than Toal or MID, as it would corroborate my reads on those two. Not that it's super relevant now since I failed to see what he did at all, but that was my thinking last night.

im starting to feel the xopods scum. we've been lead into wrong decision after wrong decision and he's been putting out the absolute maximum amount of information. so basically might just go through xopods posts and look for who he's consistently lukewarm on. also, sandwolf's ability is still NOTHING like any town ability anyone has had? still pretty happy to just smoke them because of n1.
