Buy price is 90-110 range, and you want to sell at 500+. Honestly, it is fine to just be lazy and buy at your buy price whatever it is. You lose money not looking for a super low one, but it's way more convenient.

Based on last week they seem to go from 90-110, so in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter that much if you're playing the turnip game and offloading them at 500+. Profit margin will be better if you get in the 90s though

From what I've read the prices vary from 50-150.

Prices of 100 and lower are good for buying if you're going to sell the turnips at your home island sometime later in the following week. You'll want to aim for a 50+ bell profit per Turnip.

If you're going to be watching this thread like a hawk for a village with 400+ Turnip prices, then it doesn't really matter what price you buy the Turnips at on Sunday.

You only get one buy price a week though right? Unless you visit someone else on a Sunday?

You mess with the crabbo...

In my smaller friend group of a dozen-ish regulars, 150-160 buyback prices seem to be reasonably common every day or so. It seems like you need a big goon group or something to get the occasional 5-600 price.

Grimey Drawer
If you watch the thread or discord with some regularity, you won't lose money on anything below like 200. There's just too many goons all advertising their prices.

🚣RowboatMan: ❄️Freezing time🕰️ is an old P.I. 🥧trick...

It was last night when I was literally sitting in my AC house, customizing a Ghostbusters ghost trap pattern (mainly the yellow and black lines, plus some extra doodads on the sides) to put on my in-game cellphone as a custom case, all the while listening to K. K. Funk at an appropriate volume that I realized... Holy gently caress everyone really makes this game their own, and it's incredible. I've been playing since the original (aside from New Leaf since I didn't have a 3DS), and this was the first 'my god, it's just so customizable!' moment.

The Nintendo items got cut which made up the bulk of videogame stuff.

There's some boardgame type furniture and other little games so if you wanted to make a game den you could use those.

If you want the game to be most enjoyable for you and line up with your seasons, pick Northern.

If you want to have a town people visit due to its utility, pick Southern.

I recommend sticking with Northern.

Reign on me.
Got a rainy island from nook miles and finally caught a sturgeon and landed a coelacanth.

The sturgeon was actually more in the sea then it was the river. It was definitely behind the rocks at the river mouth so I wasn’t sure what the gigantic shadow was but got lucky.

No more march fish to worry about!

There was a leaf-item duping glitch pre-1.1.1 patch, so yes.

People were using online communities to get their hands on the items they wanted (unlocking it for them in the nook catalog) then duping as many as they wanted, rather than buying and waiting a day and with a limit of 5/day,

If you'd stashed / stacked those fish in tanks outside the shop for yourself to sell tomorrow during open shop hours you would've made an extra +12,000 bells!

The real fun of living wisely is that you get to be smug about it.

Man I moved my house to the top of a mountain in the very NE corner of my island, far away from everyone else because that's where I'd want to live IRL. Boy does it suck to have to run all the way over there to access my storage though. Hopefully it's not so bad after a week or two of ramp building.
