I think he probably put the exact level of effort into the accent that the film deserves, none. Irish accents are politically tricky though, especially for the English. You don't want to come across as a piss-taker, especially before The Good Friday Agreement.

I'm really considering running it like a TV station with fake ads and everything. Really anything to stave off the tomb for opulence that is a closed casino. if you really had the time you could build a PLEX playlist with the movies and commercials all built in there.

Jedit posted:Doesn't The Witch have full frontal nudity? it sorta depends on if the problem is "nudity period" or "sexualized nudity" iirc the titular witch (as in the old lady, not Thomasin) is in fact naked for a lot of her screen time, but she also looks more like some hosed up withered mutant than a normal human, and the ritual circle at the end is all naked ladies but you'd have to have a magnifying glass to pick out any detail

Untrustable, just letting you know that your continuing chronicle of building a weird little horror theater in a casino has been giving me life this past week. Also I just watched City of the Living Dead and it is both very gory and nudity free (except for a blown up sex doll?) and also on Prime.

I'm just gonna watch the Twilight Zone episode about a haunted slot machine (The Fever, for those curious) over and over. Blown up sex doll was fine in Grave Encounters 2 as far as I know. No one has complained or called me about it yet anyway. It's like a challenge to find good horror and avoid nudity or sex and find stuff that my coworker would enjoy and find stuff neither of us has seen. I'll work on my list tonight.

Yeah, Jaws may be rated PG but it sure ain't a "PG movie". Poltergeist is at least free of nudity and gore. Just lots of corpses and scares.

So I watched Alucarda last night, and I thought it was absolutely made for me. Are there more movies in that vein? Not necessarily nunsploitation, but where women sell their souls to Satan, set people on fire, lay around in coffins full of blood, all of that fun stuff

We still doing April marathon right? Gonna spend a lazy quarantine Sunday re-watching horror movies. Today's tentative lineup being Idle Hands, Night of the Living Dead '90, Demons, Psycho, and Lords of Salem. Should be a fun day of doing nothing!
