Always loved skating the ditches / water ways in New Mexico, they were huge. Falling hurt since it was that rough concrete, it would shred your clothes/skin

Man I love that John Dickson part. More backsides than a Nicki Minaj video. I love progression as much as the next guy but I am not at all complaining about a video that highlights a speed soaked 180 indie grab and a backside 180 ollie over a rail into a bank. They both make me go  and appreciate that there's a lot of tricks that aren't fashionable that still have more to give.

Its Nike? I thought adidas bought the entire games. Will skaters be allowed to wear the shoes they want? I thought that was kinda a part of their ‘equipment’. It really oozes ‘faceless multinational trying to look cool’. Hope I don’t see kids walking around in it.

idk I'm not as mad as I should be. It looks like they're making a range of clothing available to choose from and just requiring national colors. Which seems a lot more free and open than the rest of Olympic sportswear. It's already a crazy weird thing to be happening, the clothes being one of the lesser weird parts of it.

It feels very akin to when Reebok partnered with UFC and started requiring fighters to wear uniform shorts/ladies tops. Like they don't look bad but it's just not as fun as guys wearing crazy shorts with ads for like gun ranges and condomdepot.com on them, or the occasional gladiator skirt or muay thai shorts with a flap over them.
