Mice were inevitable. At one point in this cat and mouse saga, I knew the mouse was in the sunroom, so I put widget in there and closed the door. Fifteen minutes later, I go back and she's napping in a sunbeam less than two feet away from the mouse, both of them ignoring each other. She's an utterly useless lump and I love her. I have no doubt Glitch would be a murder machine if given access to prey.

Butters is over here smuggling toilet brushes. I've got some time slotted tomorrow to lock us in the bathroom with the brushes. I will likely come out of it more fuzzy than butters.

looks like I've finally found a barricade setup that has fully dissuaded sadie from jumping up to the forbidden ceiling beams, even if it does look slightly ridiculous of course now she just sits on the bureau staring up at it and making the most heartbreaking little meeps  tragic, really

actually it only took about an hour, she jumped up there again and got absolutely filthy just to rub my nose in it I moved some large objects to the ideal jump spot
