I only have excellent ideas
If you've ever read any of his comics, he definitely has a style of comedy that is, uh, dated. Watchmensch is entirely predicated on the classic bit "what if there were Jews and they just did.... heheh.... Jewish stuff?" and it did not give me strong solidarity vibes. He also did some Avengers pastiches where Iron Man was a really weird gag about Islamic terrorists with a big beard over his faceplate and stuff. At best he is an extraordinarily unfunny person.

There is, and I think this is an important lesson applicable to many fields and not just this one, a vast gulf of difference between "not an active enemy" and "on our side." Many people, most people probably, fall into that gulf.

Rich Johnston is a mercenary grifter who's not above smearing people for clicks, but he's careful to not cut his audience in half by declaring a political allegiance. The guy and his site are definitely not good.

No, they're both sitting in chairs with their hands on arm rests and spreading their legs. It's clearly a ripoff of his art, the first time any powerful male figure has ever been shown sitting legs akimbo in a throne.

Yet where is that woman now? Tell me, in what heave does she reside? None of them. Because no God bothered to listen or care. If that is what you think it means to be a God, then you and all your teachings are welcome to do as that poor women did. And vanish from these realms forever.

They certainly are finding out the hard way what its like to successfully blacklist yourself by spouting abhorrent views.

There is a whole decades-long history of "King Conan sitting on his throne, brooding and alone" covers and artwork. It was even the final shot of the 1982 movie!
