Most of the Netflix animated shows these days probably have 20x the budget Sealab did and look at the amazingly bland, lovely, just plain ugly stuff they put out:     Holy gently caress these shows are ugly. It's all so lazy looking, like knock-off Family Guy at best. Big Mouth in particular is just abrasively ugly to look at. Something like Bojack or Tuca & Bertie might not be for everyone, but at least they fuckin' try.

F is for Family is alright, not great, but the rest of those shows are awful. Harvey Birdman was my fav early Adult Swim show and man the jokes are rapid fire on that show with some fantastic voice acting. Sealab and metalocalypse were my other favs. Peter McNichol as X the Eliminator was just so great.

Rey Poe and Finn dont mean poo poo to Han. He knew them for a couple of days, before Rey got captured. I dont remember if he even met Poe. Rey matters to Leia, i guess. Poe is a dicksmack subordinate who doesnt listen. Finn is with them in TLJ but he quickly leaves for casino planet and barely has any time with Leia. Chewie knows them even less. Meets them a bit in TFA, barely shows up in Tlj, then gets killed off screen by Rey lightning in ros. endless trash.

Venture Bros is still one of my favorites and I love the depth to the humor, like the Scooby Doo parody characters being based on famous 70s psychos. Small, incremental changes are the way to defeat the Empire.

The delays between seasons of Venture Bros isn't because of the people on the show. Williams Street basically only sets aside a tiny amount of money each year for Venture Bros and they have to wait until that amount of money is enough to actually pay for all the episodes. It's definitely gone down some weird rabbit holes but moving the setting to New York was a big breath of fresh air.
