I'm making soups, and stews.

It's easier to just scoop out a bowl's worth and heat it up in the microwave.

Especially because I've got so many darn kids.

Have one of the kids make one of the other ones into soup.

Multiple problems solved. idk why people say being a parent is like, hard work or what not "Oh no I need a bigger pot" Yea ONCE. "Oh I still gotta cut up vegetables" Better than making the whole drat meal. "The other kids don't like it" Not as much as Joey did, and you tell the rest of 'em that and suddenly it ain't a problem any more. Wow. So tough.

right on bro, forums related jacking is seriously cathartic. I jerked off to 29 different posters who posted in a thread awhile back, one for each day in February this year. By the end I was sore and satisfied.

Nah that’s relatively normal. There’s lots of parasitic loads and batteries naturally discharge on their own too. If I had planned on not driving it for that long I would’ve disconnected it.

If you get desperate and have a couple hundred burning a hole in your pocket you can get a portable jump-starter that’s just a battery with jumper cables and a wall plug to charge it.

I remembered I had two decade-old aerogardens in the basement. So I dug those out and cleaned the one I had used and set them up. I still have a basil pod and flower pods, but doubt they’ll do anything since they’ve been in the basement for a decade. I ordered some more online and hopefully I’ll have tomatoes and herbs in 20-50 days

Oh I also started my taxes today and made spaghetti. So I guess it was a relatively productive day. Kept me busy.

HOW ABOUT I LASH YOUR SHIT

The only thing I've really managed to do so far is avoid eating my feelings and watch Final Fantasy 7 Remake streams on Twitch while also replaying Final Fantasy X (something I've meant to do for about 10 years). Sunday night I spent 5 hours grinding in the Sanubia Desert while watching the last two chapters of FF7R go completely off the rails. It was an entertaining distraction. :unsmith:

I’m trying man they were asking me why we can’t be at school and when it will end and I was as truthful as possible. I explained using lots of analogies how viruses and vaccines work. They got it but it’s hard for them a lot of them have learning disabilities. They are all bored and I can tell a little scared. I gave myself a few weeks to give in to the anxiety but now I gotta be my normal self for them and it feels good.

Oh, I'm going to have to look into that. I love SketchUp and use it quite a bit for one of my classes second semester. I've seen Fusion in use when I visited a university last year, but have never had the chance to try it.

Cup is lonely, give it another smaller tomato.

We started on the garden this week, going full genocide on the grass runners invading my beds.

Checked out the garden today. There was still snow on it 10 days ago.

Four rhubarbs are already coming up. Those things never quit. There is also an onion at the end of the row coming up. I haven't planted onions in three years. I still get a couple onions every year though.
Strawberry patch is starting to green up.
There's also a little rose bush that I covered in mulch and it survived the winter, so yay!

I did sage a couple years ago and that stuff does not die either. Its now 4 times its original size and expanding outward. Gonna rip up about half of it.
Few other dead things to clean up too.

Raspberries will always come back. Hopefully apples too. The second tree died so pollination is always a bit iffy. Blueberries have been off and on for a few years, checked soil alkalinity, fertilizers, etc. Some years the go gangbusters, some years they almost look dead.

Gonna grab a couple tomatoes and maybe a pepper of some sort and keep the work to a minimum this year.

On another note, I'm in serious trouble I think. I've re-watched Suicide Squad and Justice League and have thought "Hey these aren't that bad the second time around!"
I think there is something wrong with me. I never claimed to have good taste, but jfc, that is a horrible thought to pop into your head.

Oh poo poo, I gotta transplant an aloe too, thanks for the reminder thread!
E: also got some wild blackberry runners in the yard, gotta dig that up while the soil is still soft and before the grasses grow up around it. Just moved to the top of "the list".

If you're in an apartment, can you do a little balcony or patio garden? Just a couple pots. That's where I learned half the gardening stuff I know, just dinking around with mini gardens before ever having house/yard/acreage.

Ive been experimenting with various non-dairy milks, as I am horribly lactose intolerant. The results have been mixed. I am apparently allergic to almond milk, as eating it with a bowl of rice chex made my lips, mouth, throat, and rectum itch really, really bad. Had to deeply, deeply scratch the last one for half an hour before I could get back to sleep.
