They got everyone fired from a company except for two other people and now the game is booking poo poo like clones of wrestlers reffing their own matches or a a four way with three clones of the same character. I think he only got fired once, because the logo never changed to Hall of Fame. It looks like the game just has flags to say what happened to each wrestler in the match, and if there are clones, any set flags affect the real wrestler only once. It’s a shame he couldn’t lose that last match or get Ric Flair to switch sides. It would have been interesting to see how the game handles an empty roster.

Akiyama did get fired twice and wasn't showing up in Wrestling School. So Akiyama did get deleted from existence which should have happened to Andrew as well.

I don't recall katanas being particularly bad durability-wise in DS1, I used them a lot and don't think I had to repair much more than other weapons, but honestly the DS1 durability system is barely a thing (which is probably why they changed it so hard in 2 honestly) and extremely forgettable. They do clip through and spark off the wall a lot though, so if that does durability damage then I believe it immediately. Then they massively overshot the mark in Dark Souls 2 trying to correct for that and finally found something of a more happy middle ground again for Dark Souls 3.

Like the time a programmer I was working with decided that arrows in a physics-y game should naturally do more damage if the arrowhead hits an enemy rather than the shaft but didn't tell us that's how it worked, so arrows seemed to just do random amounts of damage. I think the most commonly accepted explanation is that it's to deter people from frantically mashing the attack button, and instead to learn patterns and timing. So, if the system wasn't garbage, if you only needed two slashes to kill a guy but you mashed three, you'd be penalized with durability damage by hitting his corpse. However, as has been noted many times over; the system is broken in basically every way so that not only were you penalized the instant an enemy died for every frame your weapon lingered on the body, but many weapons had animations that forced them to interact with the corpse longer than the single instant of damage to kill them, which would dramatically damage their durability. It certainly effectively removed armor durability as a consideration, but armor breakage has never been a meaningful consideration in any Souls game, so it's not much of a change. I did have weapons actually need a repair powder once or twice in DS3 when I was making rounds in particular large areas, though, so it's not like they made it completely meaningless.
