Is it possible for me to be an Octoling during the demo? This is very important to me. I'm having so much fun with it right now. How's the multiplayer population like under normal circumstances? Regular games seem fine but it took me a long time to get enough people for a ranked match.

I think and I could be wrong, ranked games are local region only. I've noticed when I play at night ranked games tend to be harder to fill whereas regular turf war will fill up immediately with all Japanese players.
