House 4 seems a good balance, McCoy and O'Brien would probably get along great, and Picard can probably keep Quark's shenanigans to merely entertaining and be a proper father figure to Kes.

there might be some arguments but imo in terms of who you want your back in a crisis i think you could do a lot worse than Space Dad, genetically engineered hotshot doctor, superbrain android man, and the woman who got a lone ship through the delta quadrant while finding a way to shoot 38 unreplaceable photon torpedoes 120 times. hopefully troi will be able to stop everyone murdering each other in the process. though you might have to put some effort into spurn Bashir's advances if you are a living being with a heartbeat, especially if he's Season One Bashir who doesn't understand personal boundaries i'm curious as to whether House 6 has Q and Odo in their human forms, given that's the only way to make Q compatible with the idea of having a house to live in that might happen. if so prepare for there to be a lot of angst going on Ghost Leviathan posted:House 4 seems a good balance, McCoy and O'Brien would probably get along great, and Picard can probably keep Quark's shenanigans to merely entertaining and be a proper father figure to Kes. Fun fact: Tumblr, even before its adult content ban, was way chaster than old fandom. I don't really know why. So while "shipping" Kirk and Spock remains almost a default position that people who like Star Trek are expected to have*, posting actual pornography would be super weird. You are supposed to post stuff like this:  *I'm actually very kirk/spock ambivalent. i think their bond is ineffable and like, wow. so powerful and strong. I love them. but like actual penis stuff? idk if they do that.

I do however think that they have the most powerful relationship (not in the sense that suggests sexual behavior) in Trek.

Plugging this into Hagen–Poiseuille, I'm getting 201 kPa for the pressure difference between the bladder and atmosphere. Human bladders will typically get up to about 3-4 kPa when you really gotta piss, so yeah the Vulcan bladder is a miracle of engineering.

That particular one though does have a very strong correlation with age, the older the Tumblr user very obviously the less they give a poo poo about it, it's sort of a generational thing --- anyway, tumblr is also popular for fandom stuff because of a very real phenomenon well-encapsulated in this famous tumbl that zillions of people agreed with but had never previously seen articulated

Bashir's relationship with Garak vs Sloan is a fun one. Difference is as much that Garak is a professional while Sloan is just kind of a thug. It's pretty clear Section 31 isn't as good at the cloak and dagger stuff as the think they are; mostly they get by through exploiting corruption and leveraging the Federation's science.

Also Garak isn't his thug. Garak, operating on behalf of the Cardassians, is just an example of what Cardassia thinks is fine tactics, and Bashir can put that off as "that's the Cardassians." Sec31 is the Federation's, and thus their continued existence and operation makes the Federation, and Bashir by extension, guilty. It's stunning how many ways a device that would have that kind of interface gets proposed in serious contexts, almost always having some sort of Star Trek reference.
