Finally managed to dig out a "family" photo. The lad at the back on the chair is Miles, he's my girlfriend's first cat and my fourteenth. I think. The fat slug on the left is his younger brother Max, same mum and probably the same dad but from different litters. He's retarded. Like, genuinely. We've had him for two years and he still doesn't recognise us sometimes if we come back into the house after going shopping or something. The grumpy bitch up front is their mum, Millie, who is fine with Max because they've always been together but doesn't really get along with Miles because they were separated for a year. All three of them were strays that we've took in, Millie was having nothing but litter after litter and was very thin and not looked after.

Here are my toothless rescue cats

This is Professor Catface Meowmers, I got her almost ten years ago, when she was about two years old. She's moved with me three times since then and has been getting much less anxious as she's gotten older. Last year she started seeking out laps for the first time, but only when we're lying down in bed. It makes for a very nice nightly routine. She hates being picked up and is generally wary of anyone who isn't me or my wife, but she's very gentle and is always worried about hurting me if I try and play with her. She has recently learned to play with the other cat too.

This is Noodle, we got him when we bought our house a few years ago. We gave him the name because he is very long and goes completely limp like a wet noodle when he's picked up. He's part Siamese and he is very chatty: every time i touch him or say his name he starts meowing until he figures out what's going on. With the quarantine, he's figured out that he can sit on my lap during the day, so he spends most of his time contorting himself into weird positions that maximize belly rubs. He has enormous snow paws, loves being held, and slides around like a cartoon character when he's chasing something.
