try making it differently than usual. i never make drip decaff because i drink drip every morning but i only sometimes bust out the moka so a decaff moka is a nice night time treat

Maybe you could like homeopath the decaf out by mixing it with proper beans at a sufficiently high ratio? As a result you'd have to brew from the resulting bag more often but that would help you resolve the issue quicker?
