Does anyone remember the thread about the people who wanted to start a new country where they all got transformed into robot dragons? They were all fantasizing about flying around and breathing fire to shoot down F15s. I just remember they took some of the best posts and made a book of weird dragonkin fan fiction out of it, but I can’t find it anywhere.

That was back when there were tons of goon experts jumping into every thread and I remember some aerospace engineer or someone pointing out the aluminum they planned to use for their wings was incapable of actually holding up to the stress of flying. For some reason no one was willing to step up and be the expert when they started talking about their 8 seperate foot long cyberdongs they were going to have.

I don't think it's a widely-known feature, but the View Profile page will take a username parameter in place of the userid it usually gives you. (Replace spaces in the username with "%20".) For example, if I click on the "Profile" button under your post, it takes me to https://forums.somethingawful.com/member.php?action=getinfo&userid=53598 ; https://forums.somethingawful.com/member.php?action=getinfo&username=Sir%20Not%20Appearing will take me to the same page. From there you can go to the user's rap sheet (which doesn't appear to have the same username parameter, it requires an ID) and satisfy your curiosity. (Please don't use this to weirdly stalk users, it's just a handy shortcut.)
