This is a song I'm 99% sure was in one of my Spotify playlists, but now I can't find it. So if my memory is correct, they must've removed it. I remember the song being pretty badass, so I'm pretty upset at not remembering it. Edit: I turned on the option to see removed songs, still couldn't find it.

It's a rock song. A women on vocals. She's got a very authoritative style. The lyrics include "this isn't [something I don't remember], no this is utopia" -> que the punchy chorus.

Any ideas?

Edit:
I found it. It's actually called Utopia, by Chicks on Speed.

I play too much Supcom
So i apologize in advance as i've got very little to go on. Its a female vocalist and sounds a little electronic or auto tuned, the only lyrics i can partially remember are something like

"baby dont you miss me, unless you", and then it repeats what sounds like "unless you"

Unfortunately i dont remember very much of it at all, ive heard it used in ads a couple times and for some reason its now in my head and driving me bonkers.

I just remembered a song that I can't find online. It was from the '90s or earlier...I'm bad at describing musical genres and my memory is vague, but I want to say latin salsa/jazz/calypso/reggae? The main lyrics were "Girl you need a fire man, to put out your fire."

EDIT: I asked my parents, it's Fireman by David Rudder.

My wife is half-singing a song she swears exists. Can ya'll help me find it?

Her description is that it is a song very commonly used in montages, and it may be in french. She knows a line thats something like counting, "Un-De-Du-Twa" is how she remembers it. There is also maybe some kind of Beach Boys-like crooning, something like OOooWEEYYYooooOOOO" that is in it.

I don't think this song is real.

I heard a song on the radio while driving the other night and I can't seem to find it.

Kinda funky R & B, and based on the sound, mention of MLK, and using "Negro" gotta assume it's late 60's or early 70's. The lyrics were about a bunch of black guys stopping another black guy they see walking thru the hood with a can of kerosene, essentially explaining, "hey, just march like MLK says, you don't have to set random poo poo on fire, it's a bad look".

I shot a FB message to the radio station, but it's a tiny local indie station that does all their broadcasting remotely, and not sure if anyone's at the wheel, really. Lyrics.com isn't pulling anything for "kerosene can", which is the only distinct phrase I recall, along with "coke bottle full of gasoline" or somesuch.

Well, I saw in the description that another track from the podcast was from Epidemic Sound. I tried searching on there for mysterious-sounding "eastern" or "desert" tracks, found an artist that specialized in that kind of stuff, and lo-and-behold...

im looking for a specific song in the "world music" genre, it was an incan type of song (or at least it was supposed to sound incan), it was background music for a sort of silly documentary about the incan empire where a guy explained his theories about pyramids and how all civilizations are connected or whatever. the tune was sort of rhythmic chanting, it sounded kind of like the sort of thing you would hear in the game civilization. sorry that's all i got.

I just heard this being blasted in traffic and it’s bothering me that I can’t find it: cringey bro-country song, possibly Great Value Jason Aldean, verse has a lyric along the lines of “...you’re probably listening to CNN” and the chorus is some variation of “make America great again.” Seems like it should be easy enough to find but I’ve had no luck.

This is a long shot, but I've been looking for a specific instrumental classical song that sounds like something between Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein, but I don't think it's by either of them. It might be from a movie score inspired by Copland or Bernstein. It's got an energetic Americana/frontier feel that immediately starts off with mighty orchestral hits and the rapid clacking of a wooden percussion instrument. As far as I can remember there are no fiddles like you hear in some of the well-known Copland pieces. The distinguishing thing is the wooden clacking that's present through most of the song. It sounds like music for an Old West journey through the Rockies. I know it was used in a 1990s-era commercial in the U.S. where a train is rolling along through a picturesque landscape, but I forget the company. It might have been a retirement fund or something about fine dining on the train. This is probably not enough information to go on, but who knows?
