Got a request I saw someone post in one of these threads a few years back. There's a fight that I think (?) was Marco Antonio Barrera early in his career where the guy he's facing just completely gives up on guarding his head. Like he's happy to keep getting tagged in the face just so Barrera wouldn't do that left hook to the body anymore. Not a great fight or anything, just an interesting thing where the guy was like "ok, just please hit my face now." Watched some fights. pacquiao-hatton, de la hoya-chavez, mayweather-ortiz, golovkin-canelo, joshua-klitschko, joshua-ruiz All fun in their own way. I'll probably be watching a lot more in the next few weeks. thanks for the suggestion situasian

Kickboxing:  I'm a pretty casual boxing fan, but looks like Hollyfield/Rahman was pretty notable.  The Joanna one was definitely pretty weird, though....the gnarly hematoma's are usually a distinct lump, she's the only one I can recall where it literally just kinda took over her whole head.

It was great, but I'm a little disappointed he didn't try/mention the "real" smash, which is a kind of counterpunching uppercut hook combo that Razor Ruddock invented. It has a lot less body lean and I think it lands straighter, and it's a highly situational punch, but it's way more real than "what if I jumped like mario and hit your face like you were a coin block".

I mean given the lack of any live sports this card might as well be Mana from the heavens but in a vacuum it is pretty low quality even before Mikaela Mayer tested positive for COVID-19. Shakur Stevenson In a non-title fight and a bunch of prospects in six rounders. Robisey Ramirez still trying to pick up the pieces of his first loss, another heavyweight nicknamed Big Baby who, unlike Jarell Miller, is hopefully not a walking chemistry experiment and Quatavius Cash who I only know as the "Errol Spence by murder" guy in that Mayweather Boxing Club video about Errol Spence vs Mikey Garcia.
