So it looks like the new area (Bionis Shoulder) is where the epilogue happens and there's speculation it'll be shorter than the Torna DLC. For me buying the game again hinges on how expansive that part is. That area was cut from the original but accessible with patches/codes so it's cool that it's making an appearance.

What I don’t understand is (END GAME SPOILERS FOR XB1) how the shoulder exists if at the end the world presumably becomes a regular spherical planet or a big giant sky ocean like in xb2 I forget

You crash land there at the start of the epilogue. It would be cool if restoring the city is part this segment, since the endgame quests there kind of left it hanging.

I saw that also you only get to play with Shulk, Melia, and 2 Noppon characters for it too. Give me more Dunban. I think I played most of the game controlling him anyway (or Melia since the AI for her is rear end)
