I grew up in that area the the GOP has been loving the south since the 80s. Just look at how many years McConnell has been re-elected. Kentucky has gotten more federal money for years than other states and look at it. I mean, I grew up there and there are STILL counties there were people live at or below the poverty level for generations. The people are stubborn and stuck in their ways. It doesn't help when Hillary visits and says, "I'm shutting down coal" which means no jobs so of course they vote Trump. I have friends down there and when voting at the polls its not unusual to hear someone shout, "which ones won't let mexicans in" even if you are just voting for the mayor. Just google Matt Bevin and see the type of people they elect.

I was reminded by a friend that back in '08 or '09 Howard talked about how much of a monster Ellen is her staff. This was around the time she was in the news for taking a dog back from her hair dresser when she found out she gave it to a little girl. Interesting to see him walk back his opinion on her now.

The Artie drug saga is so wild because anyone who's ever used or had a problem could spot it right away and the signs were really loving blatant. His anger outbursts, calling in sick and nodding out on air are textbook "is on heroin" signs and it's crazy how long it took Robin and Howard to realize what was going on. Some if it's really awkward to listen to. Loving this free stream and will be sad to see it go. I'm binging through all the historical specials at work and they're really keeping my spirits up. So much classic poo poo that I grew up on and hadn't heard in years - or even thought about. Only thing is sometimes I skip poo poo that doesn't hold up like the gay and trans jokes but god drat, the Gary Love Tape and the Sal and Richard Christie retrospectives were loving great. I didn't know Stained did a serious live cover of "Bad As Can; The Beetlejuice Theme" I even rewatched Private Parts a few weeks ago and it holds up well. Listening to all this old stuff has given me a new respect for Howard tbh. He catches a lot of poo poo and has a bad rep but it's hard to argue with how much he's manage to accomplish. Plus, for as much crap as he gets for taking so many vacations and not working as much anymore, everyone who's worked with him says his work ethic is through the loving roof and I think at his age, he's earned it the right to coast if he wants to.
