Yeah, years and years ago this was the reason I initially liked Tesla, because gently caress dealerships, gently caress dealership owners, petty loving royalty and pieces of poo poo, so anyone sticking it to dealerships I thought was great.

The monorail doesn’t run to the airport. It’s actually extremely inconvenient to get around on in general since it doesn’t even run the full length of the strip and has multiple breaks. Yeah that’s what really confused me about all of this. Why would Las Vegas want that when they have the monorail? I’ve been to Vegas multiple times for NAB and have never rented a car because you can get all over the strip real easily for cheap. Any other time I’ve gone I’ve driven since it’s about 5 hours. And even then, traffic is only bad on the strip. Then again, some local governments are taken in pretty easily. It’s why states keep giving tax breaks to Hollywood even when they lose massive amounts of money on it.

Like when they were testing "starship" and it turned out it was just a tank to test out hovering with the engine and he had them weld on a starship shape on top. Then when it fell off, they tested without it.
