When best friends come online it sends an auto message that says “I’m online!” To every best friend and one of my normie friends replies to it every time and I want to tell them it’s an auto message without sounding like a dick but I just open my gates instead

Turnips are selling for 90 on my island which I believe is the cheapest you can buy them for so I’m opening my gates, dodo code 57FQP. The Ables are also selling sick WWII GI combat helmets but that’s the only other thing of note happening on my island, feel free to take whatever fruits etc you like, I’ll be afk. My island and home decor are still being renovated, don’t judge me

My island is poo poo compared to the ones I've seen. I've been to AMG's island twice or more and he's got one of the better, more organised ones. Go5 and a few others have sweet islands too. About two thirds of my island are covered in flower breeding rejects that I can't be arsed cleaning and all of my buildings are in random places. I went to a friend who had just started playing and her beginner island was already cooler than my 5 star 2 month old island.

I havent logged in in over a month and after about 2 weeks I became afraid to open my island and see what horrors await and now I don't know if I'll ever launcht he game again.

I've been playing a lot less lately mainly because my storage situation is overflowing and I've been avoiding dealing with it and like many others I've got overflow of flower breeding everywhere. I still hop on to grab my recipes and check out the shops but I can't tackle any large scale projects until I man up and clean house with my hoarding problem.

A couple of weeks ago I finally got all my buildings where I want them and haven't done anything since lol. Now my island is mostly plains of misfit flowers rescued from construction areas and like weird bald spots and thick patches of trees I had to move.

Flower-breeding really does take up so much space. I really like the gardening, though, and I've got a couple of areas that I like a ton because of how the flowerbeds have turned out. I gave up on all the flowers and they've taken over the top part of my island. I've moved all the buildings where I wanted them, but now I have to resist the urge to move them all again.

I said I wasn't gonna get into flower breeding but it's kinda addictive. The special colors actually look really nice and the lottery every morning of checking to see if you got any new spawns is one of my favorite parts of the game.

I’ve read online where the lily of the valleys are supposed to increase the chances of breeding hybrid flowers. I stuck one near two red roses hoping to get a black rose, but I only got pink roses.

im just too lazy to research how to properly breed flowers, what kind of planting patterns to use, which colors make which, etc.....but im also trying to build my island organically without any kind of outside inspiration. its gotta be all me or its not mine
