US embassies/facilities in some of the less stable areas aren’t too far off from this image. Now, if they start putting in fortified artillery emplacements with alternate positions, tank traps, clearing Extended fields of fire, and building these out for mutual support, and I was the local government I would be very worried.

Mazz posted:Yeah, you're either going to VLS via ASROCs or fly out w/ the MH-60R/MQ-8C, whatever is onboard. As mentioned above there are modern deck torpedo launchers around but no idea if the FFG(X) has them. I would assume every FFG will have a couple ASROCs in the loadout but they could possibly just forego that for more SAMs given the 32 tube limit and focus on ASW via helicopter and other assets like P-8s. Being that they are strike length 41s, I'm guessing you're going to see some tomahawks or SM-6s on there? Playing with CMANO you could fit: 2 ASROC 12 Tomahawks 12 SM2 BlkIIICs 28 ESSMIIs If you ditch the Tomahawks and carried 4 SM-6s for CEC and a few more ASROCs 4 ASROC 12 SM2 48 ESSMIIs 4 SM-6s or just 18 SM2s and 56 ESSMs. That would stay up a long rear end time in most CMANO scenarios so long as your helos could launch for subs. Having 16 NSMs is sooo much better than harpoons.
