The Pounder is fine when you've upgraded it in your garage, and it can take multiple rockets before it dies so you have plenty of time to session jump or Alt-F4 before you get griefed.

The Up-n-Atomizer will also bounce the Pounder out of any problem you land it in

I feel like I've tried all the things, can't get this puppy to run on epic games store.

Anyone have suggestions for this? I have:

-verified game files
-manually updated video drivers and redist packages
-uninstalled/reinstalled rockstar programs
-reinstalled epic games launcher etc. outside of program files
-tried running in admin mode
-uninstalled and reinstalled all 92gb

Sometimes the game starts up in window mode, and can make it to the brightness display setup, pops up a windows firewall notification, but if I click anything at all it crashes. Otherwise it just starts up a full screen black screen, then crashes immediately. Disabling windows firewall did nothing.

Is it feasible to run an arcade? I mean, I doubt I have the patience to build a huge criminal empire but judging from what businesses there are available running an arcade would be a lot more fun than a cocaine or money laundering scheme to me personally.

There's been a few times that I've been unable to move it even with the up and atomizer. :(

The arcade makes 500 per day with the default setup, and up to 5k per day once you've bought all the machines so it isn't a great passive money maker. However it does give you access to the casino heist which is really fun and great for making money.

You cannot use sourced vehicles for yourself.

The arcade is merely a front for the casino heist, but the MCT you can buy for the basement is cool if you have a lot of other businesses

So there isn't much development for the arcade as a business in itself? I was kinda hoping for developing it, buying different arcade machines etc. but I guess that was a pipe dream.

It's cool if you've always wanted to own an arcade. There are about 10 different games. Claw machine, love tester, fortune, multi player games, 2 player race games. A bar with teleportation juice. A TV for handy afk-ing. You can micromanage it down to the placement of which cabinets go in which spots(35? i think total spaces). It low key works for you and you can net $4,500 every game day(+5000-500). There's no traditional business goes along with it, as mentioned, its main point is the base of operations for the casino heist

If anyone doesn't know, the 'tyres can clip' flag on a car means it will have better traction over bumps the more sidewall your tires have got. So offroad tires are best for those, followed by muscle, then tuner I think... usually only done for racing

In regards to the bunker and gun running, at the start is it worth putting all resources into production to build up some money so I can aim for bunker upgrades, or research and wait a bit longer before selling weapons?

Yeah from what I've read more than 6mil or so in cash-on-hand, esp for new players, gets flagged p hard.

E: I've probably snagged 4mil total from droppers, usually as a surprise (like I had a random person in a mission drop a mil on me while we were waiting for the last person in the mission to lose the cops, and a couple of them just bombard me outside the casino), but I really try not to seek them out.

Go for the gunrunning right now if you can get someone else in on it with you, ESPECIALLY if you can do the whole semi-solo-but-pubbie-lobby thing. The research isn't really worth it until you get a MOC or whatever IMO.

EEE: someone post the guide on getting that sweet-semi-solo action.

The one I saw for a solo public lobby was pretty straightforward:

- Open Task Manager, go to Performance, then open Resource Monitor (at the bottom)
- There, go to the Network tab, find GTA5.exe, right click and suspend process
- Count to 10 and resume process.

Everyone in the lobby will be "booted" and you'll be by yourself.

Upgrades to the bunker(Equipment and Staff) should take a priority. The bunker and especially the 5 MC businesses really really should get both upgrades if you plan to actively use them for making money. If you take a different path and focus on the nightclub, then you only need to own the business(location and upgrades do not matter in this case)

Research really is a gamble - last week would have been great since it was double speed research but that's the past for now. Of the 51 items, fully half of them are camo liverys, gun paint jobs, cosmetic/worthless upgrades like bull bars on the technical and armor plates on the tampa. Special ammo types are good. Some of the scopes are good(thermo on the heavy sniper hello). Juggernaut suit is cool. Oppressor mk1 missiles, tampa remote minigun, prox mines, AA trailer upgrades. There is some sweet stuff in there but its a crapshoot. In total if you were to fast track everything(get one sliver of research and then pay) its over about $12m, so maybe if you "find" a bunch laying around, go for it. There is a gimmick to re-roll your random research project so if you're trying for specific things that might be worthwhile. I don't know it but if you google its like 'gta bunker research glitch'

Thanks. With doing the 2FA for my Rockstar account as well as doing the Tomahawk killing rampage, I was able to get more staff and security for the bunker. I am hoping the daily missions thing that's on at the moment till the 27th will cover the equipment upgrade.

Yep, contact missions are a great way to level up when you’re that low level. Shouldn’t take long.

I still maintain that the best way to level up is cratesz for some reason I feel like it gives you a ton of XP. I leveled my second character from 1 that way.

Oh and you can do contact missions solo if you want

If there's no current 2x RP that appeals to you, then crates is absolutely a quick rank up. Can be pretty cheap too- spend 2k to get one crate, then turn around and sell that one, and boom you get 5,000RP. edit: cooldown of 20 to 30 minutes? of selling from the same warehouse, so if you're intent on grinding RP this way you p much want 2 or more warehouses and alternate through them

Action figures(100) give $1000 and 1000RP, plus a bonus after all are collected, so that's 100,000 total, enough to get to level 23 minimum. This one can be done with any car.
Same with the playing cards(54) but those mainly reward with chips, total there is like 65k in chips.
The signal jammers(50) are also $2000 cash, 1000RP, but some of these are tricky if you don't have a way to fly around early on.
If peyote plants ever come back, those are like 5000 or 7500 RP each

You'll get split up frequently. It just happens.

You can attempt to avoid this, or at least speed up getting back together: from Single Player, one of you should play "Online" but choose an Invite Only session type. Once loaded into Online, invite the other to that session.

You'll usually still be in the same Invite Only session when you exit a job back to freemode, or if not, you load in super-quick since you're by yourselves in individual Invite Only sessions, and can just invite each other back to the same session (or ignore that and just jump to another job and invite them to the job from the job menu)

What slows down loading (and keeps you surfing those clouds) are loading clothes, cars, and properties of 30 different players, some of which are using 56k modems and live in a cave on the other side of the world. The game has to load and process each individual asset and player location before you load-in.

Yes, the remix with the scramjets and vigilantes is a great remix; the one with the dump truck and revolters and pariahs is loving awful. The one with the turismo classics and turismo R and speedo custom is not bad but not great either. I'll need to collect more data on the rest of the hunting pack remixes but the outlook isn't great. I'm thankful that the OG hunting packs are also included in the 3x so you can run all the taco trucks and fire trucks and money trucks that your heart desires!

My issue with the remix tracks isn't so much aesthetic as it is functional; there's nowhere near the amount of environmental hazards as there are in the OG hunting packs. Streetlights and trees are a hazard that can benefit clever drivers to keep attackers at bay that just aren't present in any meaningful way in the remix stunt tracks. Of course I feel the same way about the sumo remix but that's just me my brainworms talking.

I love it when someone is stuck to the rear of my (fire/taco) truck trying in vain to spin me out and we just kinda mosey onto the side of the road and make them smash grill first into a guardrail. Yeah that's definitely something missing from the Remix series.

Guide is a work in progress, I want to add more stuff to it depending on the common questions I see. One new small thing is I timed how long it takes to drive from Paleto Bay to Los Santos in an Insurgent (4 minutes). Don't buy anything in Paleto Bay.

And yeah don't worry about bunker research until you have the cash to brute-force through it. If you don't have enough then you're basically gambling your money on getting the unlocks you want, and that's a very poor use of your time and cash. Especially if you don't get what you want and you go broke!
