Nice. Best I've been able to do is 2nd and that should've been a win because the guy burst out of a house facing away from me and I unloaded an M4 into his back yet he was able to do an instant 180 and somehow kill me immediately. Had double-digit kills though so it wasn't a boring campfest the whole time.

Usually people will post their usernames in the lfg channel. You can also ask someone to add you to the regiment but idling in an empty discord is easier is the easiest way to get games.

We managed to get my brother and Day Day their bunker MP7s in what was a spicy plunder game where almost everything was camped and the bunker entrance was being actively harassed by cluster strikes and snipers. We managed to do the phones then I made it to the bunker as a suicide rush to open it with Jebus and day day arriving right as the gate opened. Once inside the area got SWARMED super hard. Teams were dying just trying to get in where we killed a few before we got overwhelmed as the match ended. It ruled how bloodthirsty this gun has made the lobbies.

It's cool that they finally added some special in game missions like what Blackout had with the Woods/Mason and other unlocks. Now add character unlocks like this.

Do contracts only appear inside the circle? The circle never covers the prison and I’ve been jumping their anyway for the mission and cannot for the life of me get a contract.

I thought I hated ground war, but it turns out that I just hate Tavorsk District. Boneyard and Palace are extremely satisfying to play.

I like regular infected but the ground war ones are way too big imo and most of them just have too much verticality. Climbing a shitload of ladders over and over to throw yourself at the enemy team that has camped up as high as they they can go kinda sucks and your throwing knives can't even reach them from the ground on some of the maps. The nighttime infected maps are fun as hell.

Yeah the spawns are really bad on Ground War in general and combined with the insanely long sight lines on some of the objectives it just makes everything camping hell. If you're not actually trying to play the objectives I guess it's less of an issue but actually trying to win the game is just a fuckin' meatgrinder from every direction and it pretty much punishes the people that are actually doing the work while rewarding the ones who sit back in the spawns or the edges of the map ADS'ing all the objective areas. I honestly think there's just not really any way to balance the mode around the killstreaks, though. I'm fine with keeping my head down as much as possible and having to use cover to reach the flags but to do all that and then have the guy you were dodging just drop a cluster strike or cruise missile on your head from a mile away anyway feels like poo poo.

It rewards a reckless/aggressive playstyle and if you enter a lobby where people play to win rather than pad their KD it is an insane blast. I had a round where i killed an enemy with a huge chunk of dog tags. I gathered them up only to be killed immediately. Then everybody on the server went for this chunk of dogtags and it changed hands like 5 or 6 times before one of the enemies managed to bank them and win. poo poo was crazy fun, fullt tilt crazy combat around one little area, everybody desperately trying to collect all the tags and get away. Too bad the lobbies where everybody plays objective is super duper rare.

Yup. The game creates a sort of perverse incentive to play it "wrong." You are playing a game where the rules are "win by scoring the most confirmed kills," and the players avoiding the tags are playing a game where the objective is "spend the minimum possible time in lobbies leveling my GRAU."
