i do not like the dayum drops guy because he says the same thing like 5 times in a row when describing the food or service. and then after a bite he says it 5 more times his enthusiasm level is great, even when he expects it to be terrible food. i can identify with this. i also love his beard and hope that when mine goes grey it is that regal but stop saying the same loving thing for emphasis!! i know what drive through and takeout food is and what to expect from it! don't act like im fresh off of mars learning human customs

Looks like some kind of stuffed squash, like stuffed zucchini with ground beef and cheese or whatever. Thank gently caress this stuff wasn't popular when I was a kid. My stepmom did on occasion make chicken with cream of mushroom soup and let me tell you, it was straight up chicken cooked into bits and mushroom bits and fat and congealed cream over rice as dinner. Verrry appetizing. About the same thing as poo poo on a shingle but different proteins/carbs, just meat slop on slop on carbs. The only meal I can properly recall from preteen to teens was sliced potatoes fried in bacon fat with lots of garlic and red pepper flakes. That poo poo was delicious. I can only presume I repressed all proteins or other sides, for my sanity.

My mom is a decent cook, but she was very busy for a while, so dinner would sometimes be "ruskomsnusk", which was chopped onions, bacon and sliced hotdogs, fried in a pan, served over white rice. It's trashy as hell, but absolutely a comfort food. Also amazing on mashed potatoes.
