people posting amvs makes me wonder, was there ever an amv that introduced you to a musical group you had never known of and wound up digging up more about because you liked their stuff so much? this one piece amv was that for me, I'd never heard of Masterplan before and Sail On is a fantastic song, they've got a bunch of fantastic stuff in their discography. also the amv is pretty good itself which helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5-NhI5JvqI&hd=1

Rewatching old Toonami anime can be a trip. Zoids New Century is an interesting one, despite being pretty scant on exposition and details it kinda actually holds up and there's a lot of aspects that make sense by inference which most anime would probably overexplain to the audience. I'm not sure if the dub had exposition removed, but still. Also kinda funny in that it's technically a sports anime, just the sport is giant animal robot gladiator battles in a setting that clearly has a very broad interpretation of the Second Amendment.
