I honestly don’t understand why a statement as reasonable as “guns should be balanced so people use more than 4 of them” is so inflammatory to you. I’m just tired of seeing nothing but Grau M4 and RPG and think the game needs more variety which is going to involve making other guns more enticing to use. Idg what about that sends you into such a tailspin.

Had a good game where some guy was trying to snipe from the same spot every time. So i just kept going there and killing him! Managed to do a finishing move without getting immediately killed, really shamed him!

The common projectiles on the 12.7x108 are generally slightly larger.

M13 seems slightly better than m4 for my taste/aim You really only need longer barrels on some of the bigger MP maps and war zone. I do fine with standard barrels even on granza raid.

If you throw a molotov or grenade on shipment and die before it goes off then you're guaranteed to spawn directly on top of it.

What do people here usually run for a counter-sniper gun? Currently I have a KAR w/Mono, 27.6 barrel, precision comb, Granulated, and Cronen Pro Optic. It's snappy and super easy to sight on a glint and fire. Only issue I'm having is the scope, I keep switching between the different 3.0-4.0x scope but can't find one that seems "the best".

Rust almost always has at least one attack helicopter killstreak which racks up approximately 500 kills whenever I play it, but I don’t even mind.

Having a regular crew of 5-6 players is great for when the enemy team calls in a chopper gunner. immediately Zonked out of the sky by like 4 separate rockets at once. IMO anything beyond than VTOL its very rapid diminishing returns, maaaaaybe chopper gunner.

Why the gently caress does this game keep putting me in lobbies with unplayably bad lag? My connection is fine but I'm constantly getting stuck in games with >200 ping and I'm literally just rubber-banding around. Really don't want to keep quitting games.

Ugh this mission to hack 15 pieces of equipment is gonna be the death of me. Such a slog, I literally never seen equipment laying around undestroyed and even if you try to flank to defuse claymores some jackass just spawns right behind you.

I already have the weed pack, give me the shaka-containing pack! why do they even remove poo poo from the store in the first place? i want to buy it, if i cant buy it im not going to buy something else. I found that the easiest thing to do was to look for claymores and proxies around corners in Shipment (it helps that you can hack through the walls) and look for Trophy Systems around flags or objectives. It still took me playing about 10-12 hours to finish it, but that was because I got lucky and ran into a few people that must have been doing officer challenges because there were mines all over the place. I lucked out and got 8 in one game. If it wasn't for that, I might still be working on it.

Some day games will figure out how to do challenges that are actually fun instead of painfully tedious bullshit. edit: On a brighter note I have finally built an Origin-12 that I like and sliding around hipfiring people on Aisle 9 is insanely enjoyable. Also trying to get the hang of throwing knives but that's been a little trickier. They seem to not actually impact quite where you aim but I can't tell if it's consistent or not and I need to get a feel for their air time.
