NolVac is good people and our Alliance Quarters is a nice afk spot with a bar and collective botany Game is fun. Lobby is rear end on FPS but the other areas aren't bad and you can access most of the same things. Actual fighting and whatnot is pretty fun. It's PSO, and it takes me back to the Dreamcast days of yore.

Someone else earlier in this thread was talking about how to do it successfully.

Anyone else having inventory issues? I'm capping out after each mission. Related is there any reason to pickup weapons/armour your class can't use? I assume part of the intent is that you can sell them to other players if you have a premium pass but I'm discarding everything that I shouldn't feed to my Mag (non melee weapons)

I don't know what the key is on PC but on Xbox you hold the right trigger while having the cursor over the inventory item and then move down the list, it'll select everything you pass over, then you press a and you can deposit them all to storage. This will skip anything you have equipped as a bonus. Edit: To be clear 'press a' is again the xbox control version.

A helpful tip if you're playing with KB+M; you can shift/ctrl click inventory items to select multiple items. Then left click to open a context menu. This is super handy for quickly depositing everything between missions to clear up space.

I played for about an hour and am I missing something or are all the story missions just cinematics without any gameplay integration? Is it this way since they bumped up the rate you level since there are already three eps worth of content?

It's more because Matter Boards were atrocious even after being 'adjusted' and have thankfully and rightfully been annihilated. So now you kinda just view a timeline of events with the occasional battle here and there. Some of those battles and stages are pretty dang cool (end of Episode 2 for instance) though.

Played a bit yesterday, shut down for the night, woke up this morning, shortcut does nothing. Googled around, lots of people having same issue. Can't uninstall or reinstall the game. Reddit post detailing loving with permissions possible works but updated the post later saying it actually doesn't work. https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/grzjkz/na_pc_possible_fix_for_people_getting_nothing/ Literally unplayable, unironically.

What is worth spending real money on in this game? A lot of stuff seems to be either cosmetic or time-limited, but it looked like there was some stuff like inventory upgrades that you keep forever? Also, what's with the personal quarters? I have access, but then I also got some reward tickets that say they give me access to personal quarters for 3 days.

Usually extra mags and inventory expansions (which are per character). Your default mini-room can hold like five items and is the size of a child's shoebox, the access tickets let it be a big room with a larger cap (and you can permanently extend it with tickets from down near the stage in the Shop area to have two more rooms attached either side of the same size).

Hopefully the lobby issues will calm down as the initial rush of players stop playing and the population stabilizes. F2P games are never as popular as their first day of a launch.

Are missions structured like Warframe, where it does matchmaking for you? The thing I hate most in MMOs is begging people in the town square to form a team. Any reason to try and play solo? I like summoner classes most but they always tend to be support classes.

Is there an inventory overflow? I was claiming a bunch of title rewards and I think my inventory was full but I have no idea where they went. They don't appear to be in my storage either? e: Or maybe they did go to storage? Some of the rewards looked like items I'd have to use to get XP. I put literally like 1000 hours into PSO and this sort of scratches that itch but this has the same issue that any game that's been running for a while has and it's systems are borderline impenetrable before you get to the fact it has that classic Japanese MMO UI design sensibility. Still enjoying it for what it is- also I can't stop laughing whenever I hear "EMERJANSEE" This really badly needs a brutally simple newbie guide that's basically "Do this, don't do this, don't bother with or worry about these aspects of the game"

Any race can be anything. There are technically stat differences, but oni would be the meta pick even then because health is for babies and they just have more damage across the board. Also any single character can level every class to max and even swap between missions freely, so don’t even worry about your starting class choice. You can just pick something else if you don’t end up liking it.

Are there any decent Force guides out there? Right now my go to techs are Gibarta for wiping swarms of enemies in front of me, Gizonde for quick nuking 1-2 enemies, and Ilgrants for when I want to fire magic missiles at something (this seems to be real good for hitting weak spots non-stop too). Still only in the low 20s but it feels like damage output is getting a little better, and having tech as a subclass now should help with more tp regen too. Though I still see the occasional melee character create waterfalls of damage that is well beyond any DPS I output. With leveling mags, is the go to option for focusing on a single stat still "feed it all the extra weapons of that type you don't need, while also feeding it cheap items/furniture that lowers the progress of other stats that are rising slowly" or is there a better way now? kirbysuperstar posted:Welcome to PSUengine's object pipeline, it will never be fixed I don't ever recall it being an issue on the JP server and I thought Ship 2 was usually pretty busy there, though not "every block is full  " levels of busy like this launch is atm.
