It's one story told over two movies, so it'll make more sense starting with the first one.

Alien and Prometheus are the best of the franchise but my favorite may be Aliens. Aliens 3 does have standing.

Also a Bayonetta movie needs a good script/story who can make the character well and someone who can either do wild action like Bay or Snyder otherwise go the route or Wick/Raid and an actress capable of all that stunt work.

gently caress it. Michael Bay directs a character study of Bayonetta with stunt coordinators and 2nd unit by the Raid choreographers

Free to roam the heavens in man's noble quest to investigate the weirdness of the universe!

Blade Runner (+2049) may not be "about" sentient sex toys, but it definitely has them, with the one in 2049 being more important to the plot and themes.

That's what happens when you really want to write about sex as a commodity but feel uncomfortable writing about sex workers. Like, there are few ethical questions about having sex with robots that don't also apply to having sex with people who sell sex out of necessity.

Even Astro Boy is pretty clear about this. Always remember one arc where a Japanese-American tells Astro about how he experienced discrimination from white Americans, then saw how badly those white Americans treated black people, and then when robots came along they treated them almost exactly the same way.
