Since this one ends with Joker getting captured, was there an optimal day to finish it, or should I not worry about it? I still recommend rushing it in the two day minimum. You have to finish Akechi’s and Maruki’s links now that both have opened up. It’s how you open up the new semester.

I saw somewhere that it's a good idea to save up a few mementos target requests before going and doing them. Is that so? Just had Mishima give me my first, the bully, and I dunno if I should wait or go ahead and go for him.

Going to mementos for any reason uses up a day time slot so you want to get as much progress for that slot as possible. Wait till you have 4 or 5 before going in.

There are broadly two types of requests: ones you get from Mishma which are always given to you on specific dates, and ones from your social links that you get after you hit a certain level and have to be completed to continue to link. Since going to mementos always takes up the same amount of time it's generally better to have multiple requests saved up if you can to optimize time usage, but there are instances where you might just want to pop into Mementos to knock only one or two off because they're gating an S. Link or something. Mishima's link is also semi-gated behind completing the requests he gives you, and his bonuses are really good because they are flat bonuses to how much EXP you get. My advice would be to wait until you have a couple unless it's gating a Social Link you want to advance. Also just as a general time management tip even moreso than lumping together Mementos requests into a single run is maxing out the Temperance confidant once they're available. At rank 10 they give you an ability to leave Leblanc at night after a Mementos or Palace run, which is a massive amount of extra time slots in the long run.

So having a weird issue. I'm trying to complete my compendium on a new game, and am at 96%. I've filled out every opening on the list and made every fusion and still stuck at 96%. At one point I was messing around and realized I could craft Alice and Mother Harlot as new Personas, but they weren't listed (even as blank spaces) in the compendium before I did so. I haven't actually checked to see if they've been added since I made them. I know I'm missing Satanael but how do I figure out who else I'm missing?

You can sort them by Arcana (click the headers) and figure out who you are missing. P5R Calc

There also some special personas that you only get with a specific combination of two other personas that don't appear in the compendium as a blank slot. I know there's at least one you get by combining two of the higher Hindu deities.

You’re almost certainly missing all the secret persona unlocked through Max confidant links, so I would check what the final persona for each tarot is and compare to what the fusion calculator says, or if you can what your confidant link says you unlocked the secret of. Alice and Mother Harlot are indeed two of them, but there should be one for every confidant. Additionally, there are Persona only available in the new semester that don’t show up in your compendium until said semester. A quick check is all the confidant unlock Persona have unique traits, generally themed around a 75% sp cost reduction for one type of spell. Where are you in the story, because there are around 5 to 8 new persona exclusive to the third semester as well as a new treasure demon. Beyond that you might be missing the level 40 and level 50 treasure demons as well as Alice and Shiva which require specific two persona fusions.

I was on January 27th in the new semester. I was missing 5 demons total, all of which were a max level confidant persona. Thank you for the help and the calculator. I finished the game today with a 99% compendium and really enjoyed the finale.

Teddie came off as a little kid imitating COOL DUDES I SAW ON TV or whatever. Mona just comes off as a Nice GuyTM missing his fedora, and it doesn't help that his whole obsession was kickstarted by Kamoshida's fawning bimbo cognition of Ann.

I like that Morgana is an actual cat outside the metaverse but they went way too hard on a couple of really unfortunate character notes for him, and not hard enough on reasons to like him. And I sort of suspect the only reason his thing for Ann isn't even more offensive is that the rest of the game is also really unfortunately horny for Ann, which isn't much of an excuse.

I don't see a lot of horniness for Ann outside of a few scenes. Yusuke is weird about it, and he's approaching from some non sexual appreciation of beauty, and then when they're all in the monamobile in the desert. Otherwise I can't remember anyone else really bringing it up. Mona is just non stop horny about Ann and I find it well passes anything funny and right into creepy. He's also non stop relentless to Ryuji. Mona is straight up vitriolic towards him; nothing like banter between friends. And this is the dude that got involved soley because he wants to help other people. Mona just joined up because he wanted to use the two suckers he ran into. The fight between them is needlessly insulting towards Mona, especially Ryuji calling him useless, but Ryuji takes a lot before that point. gently caress Mona.

A couple of the anime cutscenes are weird because all the male cast members are super horny for Ann in them when that otherwise runs counter to their characters in the rest of the game, Yusuke in particular. Then you remember that those scenes were animated back when the plot of the game was still that the party was going on an actual world tour and the characters probably had hugely different writing at that point. Like how the plot has to contrive why Joker has no glasses in like half the anime scenes because he presumably just didn't have them at all originally and by the time they decided to change his design they'd already paid for like 3 animated cutscenes.

if mona and ryuji's friction had actually gotten some closure then they would have had a pretty good arc, but instead they just go back to low-key hostility after haru joins the group and it makes them come off as two people who always hate each other and just briefly stopped making any effort to hide it

So it's 1/27 And I'm trying to do the third persona evolution with Yusake but the only options I'm getting is to meet up or card stuff. I've cleared Momentos and am supposed to return to the palace with 7 days left. Was there some sort of time-limit I was unaware of for finishing confidant stuff in the 3rd semester? EDIT: Yeah, looks like if you have cleared the palace in time, all confidants lock out until you do once you only have 7 days left before the deadline.
