I regripped a deck for the first time in my life because my grip was peeling far too soon and it wasn't actually that difficult. The cut was the hardest part because the profile of the deck was so beat up, but I filed/sanded it all down and hope it sticks better than the last application. In quarantine I've been breaking my own personal rule and practicing tricks completely stationary because I don't have any smooth pavement. Landed some huge heel flips today. One of them I even caught with my back foot. Felt good.

skateboarding is probably pretty safe COVID wise as long as whatever spot/park you're going to isn't high traffic. Heck find the right parking lot and you'll probably have a lot less people/cars than usual.

Got my board and went out for the first time in like 20 years, had a blast relearning how to move around, then fell off and smashed my tailbone p bad. I'm good, but moving around is a v powerful reminder that I'm old now and I'm considering getting some crashpads to add to the safety gear I have. It's pretty great that we have the Tony Hawk remaster, Skater XL, Session, AND Skate 4 some time in the future after a drought of skateboarding games for years, I can't wait to try them all. Also they announced some modern additions to the Tony Hawk roster and it's pleasantly surprising, four guys, three women and one non-binary person is pretty awesome
