The new scratches are out, but for some reason you can only see them in blocks above 130. No, I don't know why. It just is that way for some reason. I think the music mostly comes from the new FUN scratch.

So, I'm at the level cap now as a Ranger. While the somethingaboutlagging guide is great, there's one thing is doesn't tell me; where to actually get any of those cool 13 star guns, or the armor sets or whatever.

Do I just keep grinding high level events hoping it drops?
Do I buy it somewhere?

What's my general gameplan now that I'm here?

First up: Is your subclass also at level cap? If not, get on that. Quite important.

Second up: The place to get the current best weapons in the NA server is Ultimate quests. These have a loving awful drop rate and you will never actually get anything out of them, and if you do it'll be a loving Talis or something, but that's where you get them. If you do not have the luck of a god, or the capitalist abilities of Scrooge McDuck to buy these weapons off players shops, your best bet is the weapon you can buy for 400 unique medals at one of the traders. Keep in mind, while they technically cost 400 it may as well read 1200, since you'll need to buy each weapon three times to cap out its element.

Third up: In terms of units, the current best set in the game ALSO only drops from Ultimate, so you will not get it. You can also get it by spending 200 rising badge 2's per piece, which is really really expensive to the point where the person in Nol Vac who is obsessive about doing it as tryhard as possible can't QUITE afford two pieces yet, last I checked. There are some cheaper alternatives which are quite enough to hold you over for now, such as Glansa pieces or Diavo pieces. You will probably also not get these to drop, but they're relatively cheap in player shops.

1. Subclass is at 55, not 75, does that matter? I'll do it anyway I guess, but since I have a RNG mag I was thinking gunner next instead of hunter. Maybe I'll stick gunner as the subclass to hunter and chain level.

2. loving talises. I'll look into buying, and run ultimates to get my 10 class ex-cubes.

3. So also buy and grind up armor. Alright, that's doable.

Seems like buying is kind of expected, so I guess I can level up other classes while I save up. Thanks.

It helps, and you want 2 classes at 75 for whenever we get the classes like Hero/Phantom/Etole since they require 2 lvl 75 classes to be able to play one and by all accounts they're OP as hell.

Infinity Gaia

It's not as bad as it sounds, and they're quite usable even before you cap out the element.

As for getting your subclass to 75, yes, it's very important because it gives you more skill points, more passive stats and perhaps most importantly a Class Boost at 75, which is a title that improves your BASE stats across your entire account. Class Boosts are why it's recommended to eventually level every base class to 75 eventually, either all on one character or on alts. Keep in mind you stop getting subclass exp once a subclass hits 55 and you need to main it to get the last 20 levels.

No, just level up. There is nothing super amazing in VHAQ or SHAQ. The best weapons are now in Ultimate, which is level 70+.

While I'm waiting for the game to come back up, anyone have recommendations for some kind of end-game armor unit setup within 1-2 million meseta?

The alliance goons recommended:

a) do the starting quest for Weapon Barrier and trade them all to one character

b) go to the personal shop and buy 3 "elan" pieces, they didn't specify which ones though

Back and Leg Diavo pieces with Glan Pike arms nets you a fair amount of HP, some PP, a decent amount of resists, and 100 attack across the board. The leg is the most expensive piece (I got mine for about 300k), with the other pieces being sub 100k. Spend the rest of the money on grinding them up to +10.

The doc is a little hard to read, but it confirms what a lot of the guides have been saying. You build up your gauge with basic attacks/Grand Wave and then dump your gauge with Jetsweep Kick (listed here as Vinto Gigue). Basic attacks and Grand Wave are 1k-1.4k DPS potency and Jetsweep Kick weapon action with max gauge is a whopping 2.6k (the grey row is for a weapon that speeds up the animation). The lower potency moves are still useful because they provide buffs to help deal more damage with their support casts. Shifta is obvious, Deband helps you restore PP faster with the skill tree and even though Surging Gale's DPS is low compared to everything else, the Zanverse cast will make a huge difference if everyone else is also in the same area and benefitting.

Oh, extremely important question. How come I saw people in lookbook that had both a Rappy suit on and accessories, but the Nyau suit hides all accessories? Am I doing something wrong or are they just selective about which suits support accessories?

Zanverse is an area that anyone standing it it gains bonus wind damage. Fun fact, this damage is considered your damage, for purposes of things like skill points or Megiverse. I believe the Movement Gale weapon action, in addition to Zanversing, also pulls in enemies to the center, making it half decent for mobbing.

Oh yeah it was using it as my main skill both for mobbing (aoe is huge and has a weak magnet pull that even works on giant enemies) and for bosses because the huge range meant less missing (and easy to maintain altitude if I want to hover out of range of boss attacks). If it adds a reasonable amount of damage to the rest of the party or multi-party then it might even be the optimal DPS move in all non-solo situations.

It's 20% damage, skills/potentials don't effect its damage as of some episode 5 update. (ignore my earlier post), so its definitely worth having up. Just note that using Shifta, Deband, Resta, Anti, or Megiverse will cancel out the Zanverse, so if you have people bunched together (Like breaking an arm on elder), just get zanverse out first and then go to town, and when the DPS part is over, try to get out your shifta/deband for your allies. You can cancel out of the spinny poo poo if you want to just Movement Gale -> Weapon Action -> Attack/dodge to break the spin -> Jetboot sweep with zanverse up.

They're a type of quest where you pay advance capsules to play them, and you can pay more to increase the difficulty. Ostensibly, this increases rare drop rates and EXP. Completing one increases the level by +1 as well, so you can chain a bunch of them, ideally in a group. If you pay Capsule A's, on that level you earn B's. On the next level you pay B's, but earn C's. On C levels you earn A's. There's also D, E, & F, but since they're 70k meseta each and you need 10 instead of one I haven't really messed around with that yet.
