I met a lady from Louisiana at a wedding in Chicago over a decade ago, and she couldn't stop talking about this really nice fighter guy she knew back home who was super talented and gonna be a real big deal in MMA someday. Turns out it was Porier

Hooker didn’t want anymore of Felder’s stand up in the championship rounds of their fight. That makes me feel like Poirier might be too much for him, but admittedly I’m lacking in fight knowledge. Obviously Dan has had time to improve and comes from a great gym, but all he’s done since getting annihilated by Barboza is knock out feinting giraffe James Vick and skate by Paul Felder. Is Poirier a better style matchup for him on the feet?
