Sony guidelines only allowed the reviewers to talk about the same parts of the game and actually forbid them to talk about the second half of it. Thats totally normal, they are really confident about the narrative ND crafted for this game.

Well, that does make sense if there's a twist you don't really want to see spoiled before it's out, in this case the twist isn't really relevant, and it doesn't appear to be one in the game itself, only from the trailers and so on, the game is just unpleasant, posturing, pretentious and tone-deaf on its own outside of that.

Mostly just dudes from the cannibal cult but she also takes up a sniper position earlier in Pittsburg and shoots a guy in the face to rescue Joel. Admittedly I kind of forgot about it myself until I played through it again recently but by the end of the game she’s got a body count that’s at least in the low twenties, and I think it’s even more if you count the DLC.

There appears to be a very clear but also very false equivalence drawn between Ellie's quest for revenge and that of another major character.
