These are the CDC guidelines for disinfection and 3M recommends something similar. The filters are removed and wiped down with quaternary ammonia solution (standard healthcare disinfectant), but you could use rubbing alcohol. FWIW I use the 3M full face mask but the principles would be the same for the half mask.

That's the part I keep struggling with because covid has shown that the government here basically only exists to punish anyone who isn't rich, so while BCG looks promising I worry that we don't have the infrastructure to start injecting everyone with it. Hopefully I am wrong.

How did the Netherlands mostly beat COVID so far? I saw a lot of news stories early on where conservatives in charge there were taking a typical denialist approach, did that change?? The US, the UK, and the Netherlands are the three places that never had universal BCG, so for the Netherlands to be doing fine right now requires a lot of explaining if the BCG hypothesis has merit. I had no idea they were not having a huge outbreak right now.

Melbourne now has outbreaks in several suburbs due to one family spreading it everywhere. Pretty much everything reopens next Monday. Restaurants can have 50 people, even stadiums can have 25% capacity. The rest of Aus seems to be doing much better.
