I think a lot of low/mid pay grade fighters are just saying yes to anything right now, with the quickness the UFC is putting together cards it might be beneficial to just get more fights in right now

Sure, and Kattar is a brawler. Which is why I want to see him get more shots against top-5 opponents before he expires. And I’m a big fan of Ige, as well, it’s just that there’s a perceivable talent gap between them imo. At the very least this fight will be a violent one.

If Ige wants to make a show of his standup again I think Kattar will be too good. Ige is good on the ground though and if he takes it there I think he wins. Should be Barboza though, I thought that decision went the wrong way.

He busted up Fishgold's face real good with some pretty innocuous seeming jabs and had that absolutely beautiful knockout of Lamas off a jab feint. I think he can look brawly sometimes cause he knows how to step in for combos but protect himself pretty well if they don't succeed.

Brawler means someone who relies on power and chin, and whose tactics involve a willingness to eat a shot to give one. Brawlers can be technical, but they're not typically strong defensively. Kattar is more of a technical outfighter: lots of straight shots and defensive movement to stay in the fight and set up his kill shots.
