The Fiendish Facts!  The marathon will be 24 hours long. It is free to participate. The selection will be a mix of forgotten films, fan favorites, hidden gems, and ridiculous attempts at cinema. The selection will be revealed a few days before the marathon so people can plan out their schedule. Absolutely. Please send film suggestions to me in a direct message on SomethingAwful or on Discord. Please send me the movie title, a link to the film (Letterboxd, IMDb, Wikipedia), and the reason why you think it'd be great for the marathon. Guidelines: -The film cannot be released past 1999. -There isn't a rule against content advisory, but in favor of pleasing a wider audience, we don't want to get too exploitative, offensive or controversial. -Variety is the spice of a great movie marathon. Think outside the box! It doesn't have to be exclusively a monster movie, or from the 50's creature feature. Think about kung-fu movies, 80's action, 70's disater films, romantic films with zero chemistry, etc. I have a great idea for the marathon that isn't a movie!If you would like to contribute in any way, or have suggestions, please message me with your ideas! We are now closed for Feature Length suggestions. The schedule is locked. Thank you to everyone who sent suggestions. If your film wasn't picked, please do not take it personally. CineD Z-Fest Part Deux's schedule was curated from a list made with last Z-Fest's suggestions and this iterations suggestions and if/when the next Z-Fest comes around, we will still be drawing from past suggestions. So thank you! We are still accepting short film suggestions. If you have any shorts you think fit the Z-Fest aesthetic, please DM me your ideas on SA or Discord. "Shorts" can be short films, weird commercials, and music videos. The test link should come up in the next few days, so please stay tuned.

A fun, friendly reminder: just because Z-Fest is a CineD based movie marathon doesn't mean it is exclusive to CineD Goons. If you have friends and family that would like to tune in and participate, they are welcome to join the discord during the marathon. They are still subject to CineD and SomethingAwful rules of conduct and can be banned for being assholes, but let's just assume you'd only invite cool people. If you frequent other subforums, let them know Z-Fest is a thing and that it's fun and (mostly) easy to tune in.
