The same weirdoes are currently melting down because they think the leaked sex scene shows that she's transgender because she doesn't have big boobs, and if she actually is, it "ruins" the game for them. Mostly it just makes me sad because of all the things they did wrong here in my opinion, I doubt that was even an intention on their part. Now there’s just a ton of hate being spread and posted everywhere and the proper response apparently isn’t to ignore them, but instead to feed off them and play the murderporn to get back at the hateful people lol

For me I just hate Naughty Dog's unethical treatment of it's employees and even if the story was great I wouldn't want to support it. A lot of the choices for what happens in the story in regards to character deaths sounded like a cheap way to draw emotion from players and in the hell year 2020 I just don't want to deal with the game opening up and shooting a shaggy dog just to see if I'd get sad or not. Literally everything about the game sounded miserable, and even the glowing reviews that are huffing their own farts none of them are saying it's actually fun or interesting to play- just "it made me big think" and nothing else. I was still curious to what the ending could even be and it still just comes off across as miserable for the sake of being miserable. Now that I've watched it I just feel like it's right. It's a game that didn't need to exist and goes absolutely nowhere. The ending just feels like them hurting characters just for the sake of hurting characters- not to tell a interesting story or cover any interesting ground. I don't need to have the ending be Ellie winning a million dollars while everyone claps but ending with her just going home, losing her father and ability to enjoy music and curling up on a bed crying I just don't get what I'm supposed to pull from it other than 'life is miserable.' The first game had that in parts yeah, but it also knew how to have levity- and while morally gray the ending did have that spark of caring for another person. The first game ended on the right or wrong of a surrogate fathers love. The second just ends cold. Alone. Meaningless. Just not into it.

Maybe I’m off but I feel the prospective people talking about buying the game in protest, also stand the most to get loving maimed by it emotionally at this moment in time. Everyone’s different, but this is like getting your random cruel reality from your media and then what? Check on the news? I too, was a little curious about the ending. And Oh my god The idea that workers even remotely suffered to make this is just a miserable plot from some dystopian novel.
