I am legally not permitted to vote for Joe Biden but even if I were, I wouldn't.

GOP is already revealing the playbook: close polling places in communities of color, cite COVID, say that liberals don't care about a disease which overwhelmingly kills black people if they say anything

people in the philly suburbs are going to go "ah, man, I hate Trump but, I just don't think it is safe to go out and vote" and loss of PA pretty much seals the election

After the last 4 years of waking up every day and reading the news and watching the POTUS ruin the country and also the planet I have to be honest:

When people down here ask me who I’m voting for, saying “I’m not gonna vote” has been so freeing and amazing.

Electoral politics has become a parasocial
relationship. one side has all the power and influence and one side has nothing. you are a told a lie that you matter and are important, but you aren’t and you don’t and the system is set up that way.

I feel free, free to hate America and hate the US Gov and hate Trump and Pelosi and Schumer and Biden and McConnel all at once. I am happy, and hate this country, and I am free.

That's a really good sentiment but if you can vote safely I do strongly encourage you to give your vote to a third party for that extra middle finger to the "two" party system

100% this.

Absolutely NOTHING would piss off the succs and the chuds like a 3rd party actually gaining the 5% that they need to be legitimized as a real party and gain access to federal funding and all the other good stuff that entails. Plus, it adds a much needed voice to the table, one that can hopefully start forcing the conversation back to doing things for the voters - if only a little bit.
Regardless, it's an absolutely crucial first step.

yeah whatever november looks like be safe first but democrats are absolutely more pissed about green party votes than they are about non voters, and the only good reason to vote now is spite so I'd advise doing it to make the worst people on the planet angry even if you don't have anything else worth going in for

Keep in mind that if the Greens get enough votes that Biden might have won if he got all those votes then the Democrats will throw the ultimate hilarious screaming meltdown and we'll get to watch. I think that alone is worth going out on election day.

We have universal mail in voting in PA now. You can request a ballot for any reason. Not that your scenario won't happen, just wanted to point that out.

They don't have that option. If someone took away your NoJoe tag you can get it back but your avatar won't be changed

Agreed. If some shitlib wants to keep trying to retaliate and intimidate people for the crime of not deep-throating Joe's boots, then they should be allowed to keep giving Lowtax their money.

So, I was talking to a friend earlier about our mutual interest in not voting for Joe, and I had a thought.

I bet Hillary Clinton is not voting for Joe.
I mean, she is exactly the sort of person who would wish another 4 years of Trump on people as punishment for not electing her when it was her turn.

I dunno if she counts as a NoJoe though, since our intentions are good and just, and hers would be less so.
