It's pretty dope. It's also a pretty great podcast for general Brit nerd nostalgia. They've had consistently great guests for years. edit: Interview starts around 25 mins in. I'm back to work for the first time in three months on Thursday and I am not sure what I'm dreading more: having to commute and be on the train for an hour, or having to be deal with the public again.

I suspect that if there was a sexy 90s celebrity I was going to perv over in my middle age it'd be Jet from Gladiators. Jet was my Gladiator crush too, I met her a few times as a kid as she used to walk around Middlesbrough FC's stadium on matchdays with our team mascot (She's from Billingham.) Speaking of Knightmare, as a young'un I had a huge crush on Natasha Pope, who played (among others) Velda the Elf:

Weird thing about Jet is she's now a psychotherapist, and her professional website also includes a photo gallery of her with Loaded-style lingerie shoots. Nothing wrong with that, before anyone jumps on me for slut-shaming or something, just seems a bit weird to be saying "Here are the professional psychology services I offer, and here's a picture of me in a corset holding a horse whip." But I've got very little experience with psychology, so maybe that's totally normal and Freud sent framed etchings of himself in a codpiece to all his clients.

Yeah she was on Games World, which us kids thought was a competitor to Gamesmaster for the posh kids whose parents had Sky. Little did we know they were both made by Jane Hewland.

Some posh people don't have tv's at all these days. You go into their living room, sorry, sitting room and there's a conspicuously blank space where you'd expect the tv to be. Meanwhile, the plebs are all nailing 90 inch hdtvs onto their plasterboard walls. It's kind of like how poor people used to be thin and rich people fat and now it's the other way around.

I have a tv but only use it for playing video games, so I get to feel superior to both groups.

Me and my mate didnt have sky, but his uncle did. He would record episodes of the simpsons for us to watch. I remember watching Termiator 2:Judgementday and crying for the first time at a film. My m8 looked at me and was like 'cyril are you crying? 'No, I, uhm, it is dusty in here' Bless him I think he knew but didn't push it.
