I will graciously say that Orlando dragged my boys to too many games and injured Giannis what a bunch of jerks

Injuries aren’t very fun, not blaming them for my team since we were mediocre the whole back half but I do think they should be switched off?

That was as close as a series can get, points differential was almost dead even with injuries, comebacks, single digit wins and rear end kickings on both sides

I wish it was real

Game 1: Warriors take care of business at home, 110-90. GS leads 1-0.

vs

Box score: https://imgur.com/43z7gQr

There has been a common theme for the Warriors these playoffs, and that's shutting down the high scoring guards of their opponents. Kemba couldn't get anything going and the Warriors took this game with relative ease. "It's not only me." Fox said after the game. "You can't shut down any guard with one player in the NBA, it takes a team effort, especially when their bigs set a pick on me and I'm out of the play. We just know what to do in a lot of those situations, and it's putting a lot of pressure on the other team offensively." The Rockets hope to get on track next game.

Game 1: Spurs steal game 1 at Memphis in close game, 102-97. SAS leads 1-0.

vs

Box score: https://imgur.com/WnKywkz

Kawhi struggled offensively, but the other players on the Spurs did more than enough to offset his struggles, while also taking advantage of the free throw line (28-33). "He has that sort of effect on the game." Blake Griffin told reporters. "Even if he's struggling, we don't want him to start finding the net, so we have to make other players beat us.. and well, they did tonight. We have to clean some things up but we feel confident in how we match up against this team." This should be a fun series to follow.

alright it was funny when the number one seed was losing to the 8 seed but it is not funny when I am losing to them

My Blake/Jamal Murray team sounds like it should be terrible but dammit if this simulation isn't about inexplicable teams winning then what is it even about?

Game 7: Jrue injured, Boston fall to Philly in game 7, 115-95. Sixers win series 4-3.

vs

Box score: https://imgur.com/qjqyHkX

The Sixers breathed a sigh of relief, even though the Celtics were bruised and battered and had a bunch of roleplayers fighting for their playoff lives. "You never want to see players get injured" Paul George said, celebrating with his team in the locker room. "But you can only play against who you're lining up against on the floor, and they're all NBA players. They have a lot of pride." The Celtics held their heads high after the series, pushing it to game 7 and even almost winning it without Durant and without Jrue for most of game 7. They'll be around in the future to be a pest in the Eastern Conference.

It wasn't meant to be. I load managed like crazy too.

Game 1: Sixers pull off 46 point quarter, defeat Bulls 112-94. PHI lead series 1-0.

vs

Box score: https://imgur.com/KsnqCM3

The Bulls had one regretful quarter, but otherwise felt they played great defense against a high octane offense like the Sixers. "Yeah, I don't know what happened there." Coach Boylen said after the game. "We played them well but that third quarter obviously got away from us, we have to make sure that doesn't happen again. The Sixers also held the Bulls to 6-32 three point shooting which helped them take a game 1 at home.

Game 1: Detroit keeps the upset streak alive, beating Knicks 129-113. DET leads 1-0.

vs

Box score: https://imgur.com/8hl8KRx

The Pistons are getting hot at the right time, and they've been hot for a month now. "It started during the last month where we needed to get into the playoffs, and yeah, it's hard to explain but we're hitting our stride when it matters most." Kuzma told reporters. "We have James, our leader, and we're just trying to chip in and do what we need to do to win the game." The Knicks were disappointed on how they came out, but acknowledged that they could have some dead legs after the long series with the Magic. They'll have to find their rhythm sooner than later.
