Usually it's indistinguishable over the other sound effects of the game but if you set one off in a private match with 1-2 bots it makes a lot more sense.

I thought I'd actually have to play 150 rounds to unlock the obsidian but it actually counts for 1 for each 15 kills you get in a match, so if you can get 30 it counts for 2 and so on. I'll never be able to grind out the Damascus but at least this is something within reach

I think there was a midseason reset of SBMM or adjustment? That would explain how some are just stomping people today, while others are getting stomped. I am super bad at quickscoping, lol I take the Kar98k with a reflex sight and stippled tape and some faster stock and then just walk around hoping someone comes into my sight line with my gun at approximately head height and then slap RMB then LMB at the appropriate time. It's doable on shipment at least!
