Continuing the international expansion of Drag Race, it's time for Canada's Drag Race! Yes, it's time for yet another edition of the series outside the current dumpster fire that is the United States! This production appears to be more in line with Drag Race Thailand, where it's not explicitly linked to the main series (unlike Drag Race UK). That doesn't mean that the various elements of the show won't be in play, expect the same show just with less Ru and more of a Maple Leaf flair! Your Judges: - Brooke Lynn Hytes (Runner-Up, Season 11) - Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman - Stacey McKenzie - Traci Melchor DRUK was excellent, and I can't wait to see what this batch of queens serves up for us. LET'S MEET... OUR GIRLS Anastarzia Anaquway - East York, ON https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260966853704327168 BOA - Toronto https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260968112318377984 Ilona Verley - Vancouver https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260969370483716099 Jimbo - Victoria, ON https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260970629219696641 Juice Boxx - Toronto https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260971887439384577 Kiara - Montreal https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260973145294430209 Kyne - Kitchener-Waterloo, ON https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260974403589828608 Lemon - New Britta, NY https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260975662023802883 Priyanka - Toronto https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260976920000368640 Rita Baga - Montreal https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260978182066298882 Scarlett BoBo, Toronto https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260979436955959296 Tynomi Banks - Toronto https://twitter.com/canadasdragrace/status/1260980695108730880 Episodes are Thursday evenings at 9 pm Eastern on Crave in Canada and WoW Presents Plus in the US, see your local providers for more information for other broadcast times. Be aware that since we're using a single thread for all Drag Race shows that we're going to have a combo of AS5 and CANDR conversation going on at the same time. As always, previews should be in spoiler tags but once the episode is broadcast it's fair game. Be kind and fierce, bbs! It may be our last Drag Race for quite some time...

The first episode of Latrice and Manila's Race Chaser spin-off (The Chop) is up, as well, discussing the MtQ for Canada.

First off, that was a perfect snipe. I'm in shock. Second, we need a new title to include Canada. Thoughts? TV IV › RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 5 and Canada: Look over there, eh?

I'm such a dork. I got excited about the premiere that I jumped and subscribed to Wow Presents Plus thinking that it was tonight. What's actually good on here besides the obvious (Drag Race)? Edit: Drag Race doesn't appear to actually be on there at all. Nihonniboku fucked around with this message at 02:54 on Jul 1, 2020 |

Yeah US doesn't get Drag Race on their subscription service. Not sure about Drag Race Canada. They have a big list of DR country availability accessible from their front page.

It had Canada, UK, and one season of Thailand. But, I don't think that's enough to justify paying for a subscription otherwise. The US series is so difficult to watch if you're not watching it live or buying a season pass that I thought at least I'd be able to watch it all in one place. I think Hulu currently has some seasons? But I think that's the only place available to watch it otherwise right now.

We're about to run into this problem with All Stars in my group rewatch. UK Netflix has all the main seasons, but it doesn't have All Stars except for 4 and 5. US Hulu has All Stars 1 and 2, but not 3, 4, or 5. I have of seasons 1-7, and all stars 1 and 2, but after that they are impossible to find anywhere. I legit don't know how we're going to watch All Stars 3. I haven't even thought about Canada yet but I'm sure that's going to be just as difficult once it's over. You'd think a cultural phenomenon like this would be readily available but alas.
