I've been trying to find a really good place to store a load of dirt I've been carrying around and I decided that the best place for it is to dig a hole in the ground and then put the dirt in it.

But what should I do with the dirt I took out of the ground?

This isn't a metaphor my house is filthy

hello old friend, i have taken to spreading my spare dirt in an even layer over my whole yard such that, over the years, i have begun standing noticeably taller than my neighbours. they have begun cowering under my frightening height, cementing my position as neighbourhood king via the democratic process of fear

nut

i know what youre thinking--what about the complete lack of grass in my yard? Well, try having the temerity to ask that question to a figure looming 3-4 feet over you

I've decided that Instead I am going to dig another new hole for the new dirt. But i'm going to need some suggestions for dealing with the dirt that arises as a result of that?

This is smart, but where will I put the displaced water?

I guess I could dig a hole to put the water in, but then I really feel like I haven't made any progress at all!

well, you just need to dig that hole bigger so it can accommodate both dirt batches. Easy peasy.

You're probably going to hear a lot of crazy schemes for dealing with that dirt but you need to stick to the tried and true methods, such as digging another hole

Just try and make it a smaller hole than the other ones

This is madness when you could just dig two smaller holes

I would invest in futures for both dirt and holes. that way, whatever happens, you're covered.

I hear the dirt self-storage market is really booming. Did you know most Americans have way more dirt than they actually use, and they rent or buy extra space to keep their excess dirt?? In most places they plant grass over top and call it a ‘yard’
