Glenallen Hill had a nightmare about being covered in spiders and sleep-ran through his house and put his leg through a glass coffee table. My favorite is not an actual injury but Pascual Perez got lost driving around Atlanta and couldn’t get to the stadium and missed his start.

Let's not forget that just last year, Yoenis Céspedes was attacked by a wild boar.  Funny rule change story: Players were furious in 1954 when the MLB banned leaving your glove at your position while not fielding. They were used to leaving it on the ground so they wouldn't have to visit the bench if they made the final out of an inning.

This is a post from a world where corona was defeated handily and baseball thrives. Here's what I'm doing in Taiwan tomorrow (where I live). AIT, which is the pseudo-US consulate here, is sponsoring America Day at the stadium before the regularly scheduled CPBL Lions / Brothers game. They have planned free USA T-shirts, Chien-Ming Wang and Hong-Chih Kuo appearances, and apparently a video featuring the Tainan mayor, the Kansas City mayor, and Lions/Royals mascots? I'll report back on whether or not Wang thinks a hotdog is a sandwich if I get a chance to ask him. I still have a baseball I bought years ago before a Lions/ Brothers game because Manny Ramirez was playing and I wanted him to sign it. Of course when he appeared for 3 minutes in the parking lot he only gave signatures to the hotties in the crowd smh.
