Edit: there are probably real people who celebrated Galentine's Day. Taking this fantasy idea a realty where more people buy more poo poo. The networks were drumming up anti-VZ sentiment around this time, appalling in itself, but besides it was a too-soon entry. In 2009 few USians were aware of Venezuela's existence let alone that there was a bad guy there they were supposed to hate. They bring out Venezuelan Fred Armisen to do recolored "In Soviet Russia" jokes. Actually it still wasn't really working as late as 2011 when The Good Wife had a celebrity-obsessed himbo Chavez on videocall.
