I don't doubt the Canucks will be exploring every possible opportunity to relieve their cap hell, so it's not hard to believe that includes making soft inquires with other teams about moving almost any player. Boeser is wayyyy down the list of players the Canucks would like to trade for cap relief in a perfect world, but at the same time Boeser isn't quite in that untouchable category like Pettersson and Hughes are, so if a team made an offer Benning couldn't refuse, who the hell knows. But honestly, If Benning has to unload a first line winger in his prime right as the team is starting to look legit so he can solve cap issues created by his idiotic free agent signings, Vancouver might burn again. From a practical standpoint I don't even know why this is even being brought up right now other than to stir the pot. Nobody can be traded right now, nobody knows how the playoffs will shake out, there's still so many unknowns.
