i had to disable windows updates on my home machine because every time it does windows updates it breaks the driver for the wifi adapter and i have to do a system restore. how long before my machine is mining bitcoins for 50 different hackers at once and giving me heatstroke induced brain damage and showing me popup ads for elon musk's great bitcoin giveaway which i gladly click on because of the aforementioned brain damage

Whatever it is, it made a far superior security model in EdgeHTML. Chromium attitude is fundamentally dumb and I wouldn't be surprised if Gecko is better now.

Even funnier, Microsoft committed some code to Chromium for their Edge fork that reduced the RAM footprint by like 29% in exchange for a small bump (like 5%) in CPU usage, and Google slapped their hand and said nu-uh and removed the code and then removed the ability for Microsoft to do it again. Never have Google as your upstream source for a project. I've switched over to Edge and it uses like 90% less RAM and retains some features Chrome recently removed.

 you make a compelling argumenti just hate edge because of the frequent occurrence of renaming files in the dark and accidentally hitting f1 instead of f2 and opening up the stupid edge window with a bing search for "get help with file explorer in windows 10" im tempted to just rip out the f1 key, i did that with the num lock and have never been happier
