Ebrietas I was overlevelled, i went to the upper cathedral super late, I don't think i even know what the hell i did other than hug the side like you do with Sseath the Scaleless

Amygdala down. I liked how bright Nightmare Frontier is and the visual design, but it’s not a very fun level. Amygdala wasn’t too hard with a bunch of bone ash, using the Evelyn, and targeting the head. I wish all the bosses would at least drop a “boss cold blood” similar to boss Souls so we could at least get a bit of extra lore on some of the bosses. Celestial Emissary also defeated and I tried a few times on Ebrietas (using the Chikage) but just couldn’t quite do it. Did try help a few people as well but we wiped each time. Is there a good, easy way to farm for echoes? I need to restock in vials, bullets, and other consumables. Upper Cathedral Ward maybe one of my favorite areas (even if it is a bit small). It also answers a very straight forward lore question I had: where are most of the Choir employees? (Answer: they’ve been slaughter by, or turned into, wolves. The Orphanage is completely overrun).

The Lecture Hall is your best bet at the point in the game where you're at, just go slay all the scholars on each floor and you can get quite a bit of blood echoes each time

Does anyone have a Chalice Dungeon they'd be willing to share that is especially good for earning Blood Chunks/Rocks and Insight? Edited or unedited. It makes no difference to me as long as it's as quick and as painless as possible.

I actually think the Choir became the Emmisary and it's blue man group myself, but yes the Upper Cathedral Ward is a mess and the Choir are all gone.

Upped my arcane just enough to just at 15 arc items. Old Hunters Bone is a little disappointing with how short it lasts. From is pretty stingy with how long buffs last. It’s the same in Sekiro where the candies give you a pretty small stat buff that only lasts 30 seconds (and I think at launch the spirit falls lasted even less). Also defeated Ebrietas. It’s funny that Evrietas’ A Call Beyond is less dangerous (easier to dodge) than Yurie’s is and Yurie spams it way, way more than Ebrietas. The run where I won Ebrietas used it twice and every time I’ve helped someone Ebrietas never used it.

The thing with Logarius is that he sucks and is kinda hard whether you are perfectly geared and specced for him or not. Because of his resistances nothing really “works” on him better than anything else besides parrying. If the one boss you’re weak to is the boss that isn’t really weak to anything, that feels ok, and Arcane apparently dumpsters everything else.

Logarius was the only stumbling block for both. I can parry well, but it still takes forever, even doing it that way.

The only time I didn’t have a problem with Logarius was my Cursed Chikage hacked dungeon run because the Chikage itself apparently pantses him, or perhaps 55 BLT for Logarius is high.

Logarious has never been a serious roadblock for me even on arcane characters and I don’t exactly understand the reputation, he’s only scaled for the first half of the main game and doesn’t expect you to have 40 points in a damage stat by then so you can just use a physical weapon against him even on an arcane character and it won’t be a nightmare; he also doesn’t block anything important for an all arcane build so you can just out-stat him later with more health

Also the run back to his arena is among the worst in souls games which means frustration grows very fast as you stew on the way back, and eat a tiny bit of dmg every time as a little needle so you either start at lower health, or eat a vial. concurrently, a STR or STR/ARC build with Burial Blade utterly annihilates him as you can get into a pattern with the special dodge attack BB has and just drain his health, toss in some parries and you are set.

I haven’t had a problem with Logarius since my like.. idk, 3rd playthrough, if I’m doing a STR/quality build, but yeah otherwise he’s hard. I’m trying a bloodtinge build for the first time, idk how I’ve never done one, and I rushed and got Simon’s Bow Blade, but I think I’d rather use a melee weapon as a main weapon, and keep the bow as the secondary weapon. What’s the quickest one to get? I think ironically the Chikage is locked behind Logarius so I haven’t got it yet, but I just remembered that it’s in one of those hacked save chalices. There’s only like, what, 4 or so BLT weapons? Besides guns I mean, so it’s gonna be easy to choose. Also gonna get the Bloodletter as I’ve never used it.
