Yes he was not the reason they lost but Shesterkin stops the puck better than he does and he moves the puck far far better than Lundqvist who almost literally turns the puck over every time he touches it. Having a goaltender who can move the puck really well would help disrupt Carolina's forecheck quite a bit

Jones for Johansen looked like a fair 1 for 1 when it happened, Johansen was coming off 33 and 26 goal seasons and Nashvilles top 4 d at the time made Jones seem expendable. Then he never cracked 20 goals again and Werenski-Jones is one of the best pairings in the league

And it's Columbus with the Nashville-esque depth on D to the point where Markus Nutivaara, who's a solid 3rd pairing D, was scratched last night and, when Ryan Murray isn't broken, they have three top 10 picks on the blue line.
